The first thing to do is to practice with the knight's move pattern until the "L" shaped single move becomes natural. Then, consider a 7x7 square:
Being aware of the notes above will help, but the knight still takes practice. I also recommend working through the K,B,N vs K endgame, and I also plan to post an exercise or two here in the future... |
